It is famous globally as one of the best and high performing laser systems to remove tattoos of all colours, shapes, and sizes. The Q-Plus EVO is the benchmark for all other tattoo removal devices globally.
Q-Plus Evo
The Q-Plus EVO system gives off short and extremely powerful laser pulses at nanosecond speed. This ensures the entire process is very efficient as the laser hits the ink particles directly and precisely.
The Q-Plus EVO has a Q-switched Nd: YAG (1064/532nm) up to 10 Hz and the Ruby Laser (694nm) up to 3 Hz. It also features a 6 NanoSecond Q-Switched pulse duration. The laser comes with an MJ power of 1200, which ensures that your tattoos are removed swiftly and completely.
How It Works
Another factor that sets our laser apart from all other laser systems is that it doesn’t concentrate the energy in one spot. Other laser machines that use a circle spot tend to do this and create ‘hot spots”. As a result, the process becomes more painful for the client and can cause bleeding and scarring.
On the other hand, the Quanta laser system prevents energy overlaps by using a square spot, distributing the energy evenly over the spot area.
This way, the skin is not burned or damaged and can easily remove the tattoo without scarring.
Pre Treatment
You must ensure that your tattoo stays out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks before treatment, especially 48 hours before treatment. If you go out in the sun, use a sunscreen of SPF30 or higher. If your skin is affected by the sun, it will become more sensitive, cause extra pain and discomfort during the treatment, and can lead to hypopigmentation.
Similarly, avoid waxing or shaving the tattoo area or using any chemical creams on the area.
We advise the patient to stop smoking at least four weeks before the treatment as smoking reduces oxygen in your circulation, making healing slow and more painful.
You may use a numbing cream purchased from a pharmacy before the treatment, but it must be applied at least an hour before the treatment to allow it to work fully.
Post Treatment
You need to ensure that you don’t irritate the treatment area. Wear loose clothing and avoid going into direct sunlight for at least two weeks post-treatment.
Once you get home, you can use a cold compress on the area but not directly on the skin, as you may cause an ice burn.
Avoid any vigorous physical activity for up to 48 hours.
Do not have a hot shower, sauna or spa, and avoid swimming for 48-72 hours.
Elevate the area above the height of your heart where possible.
Drink lots of water and rest up.
